Texelia at the International Conference of Industrial Technologies
Our talk on “Leveraging Collective Intelligence to Enable Feedback Loops in Manufacturing” at the Industrial Technologies Conference was a great success and has generated a lot of interest among attendees
As of today consumers play no longer a passive role in the product development chain as they share their experiences and feedbacks through several social media channels and influence other potential customers’ decisions. At the heart of these feedback, consumers’ tacit requirements can be found and extracted to gain significant insights for new product development.
New solutions for leveraging the so-called collective intelligence need to be developed to directly access the voice of customers as a source of competitive advantage for manufacturing companies. Information gathered about individual experiences goes back to production engineers and the information flow can be closed, creating therefore new feedback loops within the product lifecycle.
The talk proposed by Texelia explained this still-nascent concept and the relevant mechanisms for enabling feedback loops in manufacturing.
Industrial Technologies conference is the largest networking conference in the field of new production technologies and digitalization in Europe.
The conference was held on June 22-24 at the RAI Amsterdam.
